Southeastern Agency Group, Inc can trace its roots back to 1902 when the Merrimon Insurance Agency, Inc was founded. For over 89 years, it operated in the Greensboro, NC area as a general insurance agency providing friendship and guidance as well as helping to protect families and businesses throughout the area. In 1991, Merrimon and another insurance agency in the area saw the need to expand their offerings and services to give clients a better experience. Together they formed the Southeastern Agency Group, Inc.. Since then, the agency has been expanding all over NC and servicing clients throughout the Southeast. The agency is still headquartered where it all started in Greensboro, NC with branch offices in Windsor and Elizabethtown. Our goal is to continue to grow and help more people with their insurance needs providing the insight and compassion that began in 1902.
